Greenwood’s Parx Casino secures Kambi sportsbook

The multi-year agreement first covers the organisation’s Parx Casino, lauded as “the largest casino gaming complex in the US state of Pennsylvania,” which took total gaming revenue of almost $49.2m in September, the most recent figures available.

Under the terms of the deal Kambi is to provide its sports betting platform, in addition to a range of managed services and land-based wagering experience to the property, which is to be followed by the launch of a Parx-branded online sportsbook.

It’s on-property solution is to launch before the end of the year, with its online entity set to go live following integration of the Kambi platform into Parx’s GAN supplied player account management system.

Kristian Nylén, Kambi chief executive officer, explained: “Greenwood Gaming represents yet another exciting partnership for Kambi, as we continue to establish ourselves as the premier choice for operators looking to enter the US sports wagering market with a quality product and trusted partner.

“Greenwood Gaming is committed to delivering exciting gaming experiences to players in a safe and responsible fashion, therefore, when deciding to launch a sportsbook, Kambi quickly became the natural choice and I’m confident we will form a successful partnership.”

Furthermore, Kambi is to also see a land-based sportsbook launched within the Greenwood owned South Philadelphia Turf Club, situated at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, home to current NFL Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles and MLB side Philadelphia Phillies.

A further deepening of the relationship could yet also stretch into New Jersey, with a provision contained for Kambi to support a potential Greenwood sports betting operation within The Garden State.

John Dixon, chief technology officer at Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, added: “We are excited to be working with an experienced, successful sportsbook partner that can bring best-in-class systems and odds making to the Parx-branded sports betting products.

“We are confident in their systems to provide timely, secure and accurate wagering opportunities across many sports both pre-game and in-game.”
